I'd rather swap an '18 tailgate onto a '19.  

 

I'm pretty sure the '19 tailgate is taller and wider though, but that doesn't mean the electronics can't be retro fitted into an '18

May have come up with another one for Phil:

 

My parents just bought a 2019 Equinox.  They got an LT but the spec sheet for a Premier that was in the dealership said that an "HD Reverse Camera" was available as an upgrade.  If I can find part numbers and images I think Phil should figure out a way to wire one of these into the trucks!
