No the rule has been around for a long time.  The 2014 Silvy's have halogen DRLs not LED so they are not brighter than the amber turn signals.

Maybe for a silvy but for the Sierra SLT trim, the DRL is an LED strip above and below the light.

One thing I miss from my Tacoma is that the bedlights came on when I opened the doors or unlocked them via the fob. That was convenient.

Could probably tie the lights into the dome/or puddle lights using the fin to get them to turn on and still just drop the tail gate manually

The diode mod for cargo light/reverse light mod will accomplish this. At night, unlock with key fob, cargo light comes on with Bed Lights (if equipped)

I personally would like to change my passengers seat from manual to power,the drivers is power. Also add the Homelink garage door opener. With Pgamboa’s help I’m sure it could be done. ?

@pgamboa How about adding the Enhanced Driver Alert package.  The forward camera, turning on-off of highbeams automatically, seat vibration, HUD alert.
