Stamp Steel UCA Replacement

Recommended Posts

So I’m looking for replacement upper control arms to replace the dreaded stamped steels ones on my 2018. I’m looking to run the 2.25” ReadyLift leveling kit. I picked it up from a friend used for $20. What are you running as far as aftermarket control arms? Pros and cons on your setup? I’m thinking of just getting the ReadyLift UCA’s. My plan is to run the stock wheels and tires for the time being until funds allow me to buy the wheel and tire combo I want.

I am running the Readylift arms. Just got their complete kit specifically for the arms to replace the stamped steel ones. So far, so good, but I have only had them on for 200 miles. My stock 285/45-22s on 22x9 +24 offset factory wheels to clear the arms, but it is very close at full lock (1/8").

The other option I considered were the Cognito arms.

Thanks for your input I’m leaning towards the ReadyLift arms too. I haven’t heard any real complaints about them.

I’ve got the same setup on my 2018 as kylant and have had the ReadyLift UCAs on for a few thousand miles with no issues whatsoever.

I’ve looked at them but it says from 3” level to 10” lift I’m only planning to do 2” or 2.25” tops.
