I purchased a brand new Suburban in 2015 from Sawgrass Chevrolet in November 2015. Over the last 6 months my husband and I noticed the paint on the hood of the vehicle is faded and has noticiable swirls. I had it evaluated by a auto body shop and they confirmed the paint is defective and there is no clear coat. I've also been told by the dealership that this is a very common issue they have seen on the hood/ over the engine. Yet, there is nothing they can do, I must contact GM. How is it possible that this is a know issue and there is no resolution. My car is just over four years old! My 10 year old Ford Expedition's paint looked close to brand new compared to this!!!
Does anyone have any advice or recommendations? CLASS Action lawsuit?????
Hey all, I just purchased an Eibach Pro truck kit with springs for my 2017 . So I will be leveling out my truck to at least 2.5inches. I am wanting to get some UCAs to go with it and do it all in one go and have the angles in check.
I am looking at:
I really like the Kryptonite/Cognito since they use the bolt in balljoint.
I want to stick with regular balljoints instead of the uniballs and something ~500 bucks or under. Any other brands I should look at? Currently Im not sure what type of gm UCAs I have. Is there anything else I should look out for? I will be running stock 17in rims for awhile before new wheels/tires are in the budget.
Thanks in advance

Is anyone running KYB Mono Max shocks on the rear of their 1/2 ton? I'm kinda set on KYB but between the Gas-A-Just and the Mono Max... I haul and tow probably once a week so I want something a little firmer but don't want to bounce around when unloaded. I have read some great reviews on the Mono Max but most of them were written by 3/4 ton owners.
Okay, i recently bought a 2in leveling kit for my 2017 silverado 1500 ltz and ive been doing some research before i get put on. i keep seeing people saying that you need to replace your shocks with larger one? and suspension system? Is this really true for just a 2in leveling kit? and if so how big of shocks do i need and what suspension parts need upgraded too..
