Bought end of July 2017. 2016 Silverado Custom 4wd Double Cab Standard Bed with 18500 miles. It came with 20% tints and 20" chrome rims. I almost instantly removed the front valence. The next few posts (all todays date) are going to be out of order since I'm doing this thread 1 year into owning it.

Rigid SR-M back up lights. Installed on the tow hitch and ran wires down the frame to the grommet where the relay is sitting and then wires are run to the red three way switch and also to the battery. Bought through local custom shop (J&J auto in Southington CT). Pretty straight forward install.

This is where I connected the power wire to the reverse light so it comes up whenever the reverse lights come on

Did the cargo light diode mod so the cargo lights are on when I’m reverse and switched out bulbs for Phillips LEDs. Also installed OPT7 Redline 60” led tailgate light bar 312eb36def639aec045cff0ed2565b48.jpg

Not my video but that’s how the turn signals look. I love the sequence and it being Amber personally.

I installed it and bought a curt adapter #55384 so I could connect directly to the back of the trailer harness without losing the main 4 plug. I ran the reverse wire to the rigid back up lights power wire so they turn on with the switch & in reverse.

The grill lights are stuck and zip tied to the top part of the plastic piece in between the grill and the radiator. The wires are run to the grommet and then switch inside the cab that was seen in the second post. (green light switch)

The light bar was bought off of amazon. It is mounted to the brackets that were used for the lower valence. The wire is run just like the grill lights but to the blue switch instead.

Yes I have to clean up those wires. Once i buy some, I'll put it in the loom so its less noticeable. Just have to buy it and do it

OPT7 Led strip

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OU5LOT2/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The front two are stuck to under the dash where they are not that visible to see the actual strip. The back two are velcro'd to the bottom of the back of the driver and passenger seats and those are slightly visible. But overall they dont get in the way and the wires are hidden under the middle seat in the front and are currently plugged into the cigarette lighter so they turn on and off with the truck. I need to figure out a way to rewire them so they dont use up the second cigarette lighter but i dont need to use the remote to turn them on and off because that can just be tedious.

Installed a new exhaust. Flowmaster American Thunder. Bought from J&J Auto. This actually stopped (for most of the time) the truck from using the AFM and is usually only in v8 mode which I wanted anyways but was going to buy something stop it. Looking to buy black tips however for it to keep the all black look.

Installed the Deezee tailgate assist which I got off of Amazon. #43102. Pretty simple install. Took about 20 min. After a few weeks thought the end kept without the bolt was popping out a bit so I added a second screw on that end to stop it. Will add another picture when I remember to take one.

Couple odds and ends that I don’t have pictures for.

I’ve added a speaker tool box by vertically driven products. Vdpusa.com/truck/wheel-well-storage-sound.php It has a drain plug and a separate compartment for your phone/iPod. Currently I’m using a cheap blue tooth connector to use with my phone which actually is a stronger sound than plugging directly into the cord. I did have to install a steep male plug as it only comes with two wires but plenty of length of wire at least. I have it opening into the bed since the tonneau cover won’t let me open it fully the regular way. It is a two way though so you can buy for one side and switch to the other if you want.

I’ve added a CB radio but still have to actually mount the antenna since the base that was used on my dads ford (yuck) doesn’t fit the hood for my truck I have to figure something else out.

I’ve added a windshield banner st 5% down about 1/3 of the way or about 1.5” lower than the line. It seems lower on be inside than the outside which is nice. I’d personally get the front tinted completely at like 50% but the guy I go to said 50 won’t do anything for the sun.

Backed into our Range Rover that I honestly forgot was there since my sister had just gotten home from college.

Luckily I got most of the dent out. It’s still a little noticeable but a helluva lot better than before.

From the last 3 pics I was able to get it a little bit better too but I don’t have pictures of that.

I was going to do a Chase Elliott “9” but right now I feel the price was a bit too much for a custom at $110. That was the quote I got last August before I bought the agent of shield one. Plus they weren’t doing custom at that time. But now I’m really debating on it [emoji23] but other parts are higher on the list right now
