Pandora Issue 2014 Silverado

Has anyone had connectivity issues with the app lately? It was working a few days ago but now I cannot get it to connect at all to the truck. The app was updated 2 days ago and I'm not sure if the recent update is not compatible with the version of the app running in the truck anymore. 
Pandora will play through the bluetooth media player fine. This is strictly an issue with the app in MyLink. 

The phone is a Google Pixel 2 XL if that is any help.

 

Steps I have taken so far: 

Removed all phones from the Bluetooth memory.

Uninstalled the app on my phone.

Cleared the Cache of Pandora.

Tried in on position while running and off.

Unclicked the advanced setting for connecting to the car in the pandora app on my phone and reclicked it. 

Soft reset of my phone.

Attempted starting the pandora app everyway possible pretty much.

Let me know if anyone has seen this before!

I have the same issue with my S7 phone. What works for me is going into Pandora settings and uncheck the "auto launch" back out and back in and recheck "auto launch". It will work again for a little while then stop. Its a pain in the butt but it works for a few days. I am sure I could use an update to the radio but its out of warranty now.

Same thing here.   Running Moto X4.    It was totally fine then all the sudden so I also thought it was probably the update.  Hoping the next update fixes it but none of the old tricks you mentioned are working for me either.    ugh.     

 

I think I'll send the developer an email through the app store and maybe they can fix the glitch.

I just started having the same type of issues. My Samsung S7 Edge did an update last week and Pandora hasn't launched in my  2014 Silverado Z71 LTZ, since. The "Auto launch" option does not show up anymore. My phone connects just fine via Bluetooth. However, I can listen to Pandora by using the "Media" button, just like a USB stick. Start Pandora manually on my phone then select "Media". In the past if Pandora did not work, I could switch to media and back to Pandora and it would work...most of the time. No more. Not sure where the blame is but the Samsung update is suspect since it stopped working right after that. I'll try calling the GM Infotainment number later even though it's out of warranty now. Maybe they have some insight.

This is exactly what mine started doing after update on my s7. 2015 gmc Sierra.

I got mine going perfect again after downloading the .apk for the previous version of pandora to my s8 active

I had some luck this afternoon by going into Pandora settings. Settings->advanced->Bluetooth Devices. I un-selected "Launch from car" and re-selected. The auto launch came up and started. Selected Pandora app in MyLink. Works just like it used to. At least for today!

I think this is a Pandora App issue. I have realized that my pandora no longer recognizes when I'm in the truck. I've unchecked the box in advanced and it will work for a little bit and then go back to having the same issue. I'll be contacting Pandora tomorrow about this.

I opened a trouble ticket with them 2 days ago (Case #: 01652951). The auto-reply said to expect 48hr for response. I also had an error code for them (Error code 3007) that appeared and told me to contact Pandora User Support at:

[email protected] I did and included the info about the recent "not launching" issues.

I will post any response I receive from Pandora as well.

From your Android Settings, please try clearing the Pandora app data using the following steps:

1. Open your device Settings
2. Tap Apps
3. Scroll down to find Pandora
4. Select Storage
5. On the storage details page tap Clear Data

Keep in mind that the steps for each Android device is slightly different. If you have a Pixel, you can find helpful steps here.

Please note that you will be asked to log into your account after completing these steps.
