Reg Cab 2019

I currently own a GMC, but the 2019 GMC would not be in my Garage! :sick:
Silverado looks so much better in the front, and tail lights.
These GMC tail lights remind me of the 2005-2012 Colorado/Canyon style.


If I ever bought a new body style it would be a modified GMC front end, just partial to GMC. You’re correct though, Chevy looks and has a much better looking front end.

Well Page 5 of the guide that Newdude has attached above clearly shows the dimensions of a rcsb.

I had a 1994 Silverado RCSB Z71 bought brand new.

Back then they were everywhere.

Times have changed....it is the age of Crew cabs.

There just are not many K2 RCSB's out there.

Not that i agree, but no wonder GM is dropping them.

Sales and interest just are not what there to justify future production.

Times have changed....it is the age of Crew cabs.

There just are not many K2 RCSB's out there.

Not that i agree, but no wonder GM is dropping them.

Sales and interest just are not there to justify future production.

But GM hasn't dropped them.  The Facebook group for T1 trucks from here has a shot of a GMC already somewhere.  There is pics of a RCSB Trail Boss around too.

Sorry guys.

Didnt mean dropping them as in discontinuing.

My dropping meant popularity and production numbers.

It would be curious to see sales numbers from about 2007-2018 on GM RCSB truck sales.

On the just released build and price silverado it says regular cab long bed only.

I noticed this too.  I'm rather confused now as gmupfitter.com still shows both regular cab standard and long box, and there are mules of standard box trucks. 

 

GMUpfitter even has full frame specs, overall length (210.7"), wheelbase (126.4"), etc. for a RCSB.  https://www.gmupfitter.com/files/media/photo/962/2019_R4B_NG_LD_FS_CK_PU_072018.pdf

 

If it truly does exist, I wonder if it is a late release or fleet only...

If you see a reg cab short bed on the lot it is usually gone pretty quick. Gm made sure there popularity went down by not making as many. Gm makes more money off the crew cab and double cabs compared to the regular cab. If they made more they would sell more.

My '94 was around 24K if memory serves me correct.

A comparably equipped 2018 is around the 40k mark for an LT package today.

I would not spend that for a Reg. Cab Short Bed

A recent search only yielded about 200 of them within a 500 mile radius.

This also includes Standard Bed Reg. Cabs..... so rare indeed they are!

My '17 LT2 RCSB was $44K and change.  no rebates them either.  I got about $5500 off with my dealer employee discount though

I just saw this one Facebook. I'm not sure if it's real or not because this one looks lowered so it may be photoshop.  But I think it looks really good from the front. The back is probably still hideous

Thats not actually true. I have 3 brand new RCSB trucks loaded as high as I could get them. There are 0 rebates on the regular cabs. Because there are so few of them GM doesn't need to offer rebates to move them and likely makes more profit on the ones they do make. I have paid close to sticker on each of them and had to travel close to a thousand miles to find one. 

It is possible if dealers stocked more, more might sell. About once a month someone says to me they didn't know GM even made RCSB any more.
