Question
scott aaglan
I run a small fleet of 40 busses, airport shuttles and trucks, so I hope I'm not did disqualified from asking a question here. I have a 2012 4500 in reduced power because the soot count is 129gs and it will not run a regeneration. The reason the tool (genisys) gives is- regen inhibited, idol speed override- or sometimes -DTC present-. My friend tried to regen with his Tech-2 but no luck. He said it appears to be in park while my tool says gear 1. the voltage on the pressure differential sensor is approx.1.00 KOEO, 1.15v at idle, 1.30v @ 2000 in park. I've replaced the park neutral switch. Where would you go next? New sensor, cut out the DPF and clean. You cannot clear the code (2463) and try a regen before the light comes back on. If anyone has any input, I could sure use it. Wild abstract ideas are welcome. Thank you, Scott.
