Looks good! How was the install process?

Thanks! And I was going to install it myself but I just opted for the local shop I bought it at to install it for me.

How did you recalibrate the speedo? Trucks look good!

Taking it to the dealership to let them deal with that. Haven’t really researched it yet, honestly.

Gave The Beast some much needed TLC with a wash and wax. Man. That’s a lotta truck to detail. Also, the Fed Ex gods blessed me with an early delivery. So, I’m gonna try and install this Retrax Cover today too.

Got it on. You definitely need a second set of hands. Worst part was getting the rails on and attached. After that it’s a breeze. Would recommend setting it up on sawhorses or something.

Quarantined means, work on the truck, lol...

Installed:

Auto Stop Eliminator - sooooo worth the money!

Jumper to allow the fog lights on with the headlights - that was really bothering me.

Blackened all the badging - still have to do the front but I ordered black and white gel coated American Flag emblems to cover the red, so waiting on that to arrive. (See pics of other emblems)

Installed grip tape on the awesome off-road side steps. (See pics)

Like the idea of using grip tape to make the lettering on the side step red.  What kind of grip tape did you use and how has it been holding up? I was thinking about using plasti dip before I saw this.

The grip tape is on the steps themselves.... I used a red vinyl used in wrapping cars for the Sierra part underneath.

I'm going to have to put that on my black! Looks great, nice and flush. Gj? Did you get a deal? Is that the mat one?

Make sure to follow up with GM on that certificate...they sent me a $500 that never arrived. Now I’m waiting till middle of June for it to expire before they send another......

Yes. That is the matte one. Was 15% off with free shipping at Real Truck but I believe the deal has passed. Was still $1,173 after tax. But hell, it turned out great. I just kept watching Retrax’s website and they had Real Truck listed as a dealer.
