WHITESSTOWPIG
4400lb RCSB 2WD with the 4.3 18mpg on 87 and 15.5mpg on E85 with AFM turned off. This is in a major city with lots of bumper to bumper traffic and zero highway use.We have both a small GM sedan and a crossover with a 3.6 at home that both get about the same mileage on gasoline that the much heavier truck gets on E85. Grumpy Bear
35 miles. That's what it take to capture 97% of the peak mileage in cold weather. I recorded every mile to 25 miles then the actual every 5 miles pas that. Plotted it in a scatter chart. This is a trip to my fathers 175 miles from home in 27 F weather. On the return trip Pepper was on a 29 mpg pace at 30F until we hit a wreck near Davenport Iowa. 26.5 by the time we clear the wreck. Can't be back the gas you use stopped in traffic eh? I will repeat this next summer and plot vs this chart.
