I just received my GM cold air intake. Gonna try to get It installed this weekend.  I’ll post pics once I have it installed.

Here are a few pictures of the GM cold air intake on my 6.2. Noticeably louder when you get on the throttle. Took maybe 45 min to install. Very nice quality kit.

Have you taken it to the dealer to get the mass airflow sensor reprogrammed
I’m taking mine in next Wednesday
Just curious how long it took the dealer to reprogram

I haven’t yet. Gonna take it in on Saturday. I’ll let you know how long it takes. Hopefully they will know about this and know what to do?

It appears to get the incoming air from the same place as stock?

What makes it colder?

I would say for $468. it isn't a bad deal.  I would think the rest of the aftermarket will be in that same ball park.  I ordered one for my truck and it isn't even here yet.  LOL

It's a $912 option from the dealer here in Canada......So I'm hoping someone else comes out with an alternative.  As nice as it looks, it's pretty steep for an intake.

I thought for sure there would be intakes available by now....Usually they're out soon after SEMA.

I would have thought so as well.  Especially now for them to be out for Christmas one would think.

I was going to bring mine in on Saturday also
Until I was told that they need to contact GM to do the update so Saturday was not a good day

Interesting I’ll see what they say I guess when I go by there. Did You call them? Did they no about it?

I have not.  It is one of the options when you are building the truck online though.  I didn't originally see it, but when I was trying to price out some stuff when I originally posted this, I noticed this package.
