Have you had any issues running it without flashing? I was going to order through GM Accessories with the 20% off but they became unavailable all of the sudden. [emoji17]

No check engine light.

Its more aggressive on acceleration and hard shift in first gear when cold.  I have an appointment at 8am.  I will have them drive it. I had the hard shift before but now it’s stronger due to the cold air intake.  It’s nothing serious I just notice it.  I do think they have an update for the tranny. Not sure though

I have the airraid MIT on my '16 5.3.

Great sound under throttle, and quiet otherwise - like most intakes. And the previous results shown by blackbear netted the biggest gains for the cheapest intake of them all.

I just bought a '19 trail boss - but haven't even seen under the hood. The airraid site says it is the same model # but from pictures I see the intake is on the drivers side now?

The dealer did the reflash. That made a huge difference. I really feel a nice improvement with performance.  I noticed that GM removed the CAI from its web site. I wonder why????

I found out today they pulled it because they're having emissions issues. [emoji849] Guess I'll be waiting a while...

Curious as to thoughts on going with a CAI plus a throttle spacer?  is that a good idea? would it help or cause more problems and has any  one done it yet?

Throttle body spacers literally do nothing on vehicles with fuel injectors at the cylinders. Been worthless since the mid 90’s.
