New GMC Sierra Denali 2018 - Is this a good price?

Recommended Posts

I think you can do better also.  Here's the identical "sister" truck to the one I just bought at this dealership.

Is this a good price on a 2018 Denali 5.3 in Mineral Metallic?  Sticker is $59,385 and asking price is $48,753.  Not sure if I can do much better than that, but I'd love to know.  Thanks in advance!
We bought a 18 Denali Ultimate 6.2L tri-frost. 59,000 +4000 down. I would say your in the ballpark.695b535b38216a8df713a85e592fdfd2.jpg

You can do better.

I purchased a 2018 Denali Ultimate in October, MSRP was $65655 and I paid $52000 plus tax.

The dealer cash has increased by $1000+ since then.

Local dealer has 1 white frost and 2  black Ultimate Denalis right now at (MSRP $ 65455) $51000 plus tax , no BS fees.

I only kept the 2018 3 weeks(gave it to my Dad) and purchased a 2019 High Country, MSRP was $65255 and I paid $57000.

Plenty of dealers willing to deal, just keep in mind all dealer cash and most incentives go away at end of December.

For the same price you can get Denali with 6.2 from Laura GMC, plus another  $1,000 discount if you finance through GMC.  With the 5.3 Laura has 2018 Denali's $44,277, plus the extra $1k finance incentive.  The Denali's with the 6.2 are right at $48k.  However they also have many SLT's with the 6.2 for just under $41k.  You can search for any type of configuration you want on their website to compare prices.  But most importantly, whatever you go with enjoy your new ride :)

This below is Denali 5.3

Ballpark?  I can get an identical truck from yours from Laura Buick-GMC for $48,480 out the door before tax:  https://www.laurabuickgmc.com/VehicleDetails/new-2018-GMC-Sierra_1500-Crew_Cab_Short_Box_4_Wheel_Drive_Denali-Collinsville-IL/3297791143

That's over 10k less.

For the OP, Laura only has that color in the Ultimate, so you would get the 6.2L and a few other features.  That said, you would get a better option truck for slightly less than what you are being offered.  Here is one:

List price + $185 doc fee - $1000 for using GM Financial - $500 Costco card discount = Price of truck before tax ($47,846).

This is where I bought my SLT.  $149 flight and a 6 hour drive home.  Well worth burning a Saturday for that kind of savings.

4000 down put it at at 55,000 and I ate 9,000 on my trade in. Could have worded it better.
