2006 Silverado windshield wipers not working

Just like the title says , wipers will not work nor will washer . There is power at fuses and plug at wiper motor , so far have changed wiper /blinker switch on column with no change . Everything on the new multi-switch works except for the w/w , but so did the old multi-switch before removal . I then removed w/w motor off of 2006 truck and tested on 2005 truck , it worked fine , then removed new switch and tested on 2005 truck , worked fine . Next installed a known good multi-switch off of 2005 truck on 2006 truck , same thing , w/w would not work , everything else worked . So now have a good -tested switch and motor , power to fuses and plug , but w/w and washer will still not work . I then jumpered across terminals on washer relay and washer pump fired up and worked . 

 

After all this testing I've determined the problem to be a wiring issue and not a component issue . After an exhausting search on the interwebs and and too many looks at simplistic schematics , I have yet to get any closer to figuring this out . Anyone ever dealt with this issue before or any ideas what might be the problem ? Thanks .

I know the older trucks (88’-98’), had a circuit board on the motor that would go bad and cause this type of behavior.

Still looking for answers , did find some schematics that gave me more info into what makes this thing work . Looks like the ground is made in the module for both the wipers and the washers both , now I tested the motor on another truck and it did work …….so not sure why that it doesn't work on the 2006 but I will do some more testing tomorrow . Going to attempt to post the schematic here .

Same issue on my son's 2006. We installed a new self powered subwoofer the other night and were poking around in the IP fuse box to get Accessory Power. Have you found a solution?
