Rear Turn Indicator Message after replacing taillight

I have a '18 Sierra 1500 SLT with the LED taillights. I had cracked a housing on one of them and it ended up filling up with water and fried the taillight. When using the blinker I would get the fast blink on the passenger side and a message on the information center saying that there was a  right rear turn indicator failure. I ended up getting some after market LED taillights that were supposed to be just a plug in replacement for the factory lights. Install was a breeze and both taillights work, but I still get the fast blink and error when using the right blinker. Is there some kind of reset that I need to do to clear out this error code?

Thinking your harness got water in it, or the plug is broken, you should not/have had the "hyper flash" like you were with the original light assembly.

I'm starting to think that as well. Any idea how easy it is to replace the wiring harness and how much a new one might be?

Don't think it is too hard, believe it is one of the plugs above the hitch. GMPartsDitect has this part number Harness - GM (84233592) for $21.55.
