What is the production start date?

Availability summer 2019.

Used to say late summer, but one of the videos is hinting that they may pull start dates ahead.  At least for some cab/box models.

Same as 1500, (and the 2011 frame update) they won't have all versions ready at the same time.

I could be missing something, but from the numbers I’m looking at it seems the 2500 Duramax will have an 11k GVWR giving it 1000lbs more payload than current gen...that’s huge!

Also, the 3500 DRW gets 1000lb payload increase which is also really nice to see but the 3500 SRW is only increased by a couple hundred pounds, weird.

Cre Cab Payloads-

Current Gen-

2500- 2600

3500 SRW- 3900

DRW- 4900

Next Gen

2500- 3600

3500 SRW- 4100

DRW- 5900

I was watching Gale Banks' video on the 2020 L5P updates on their Facebook page.  He stated engine plant starts the 2020 engine in April, truck plant fires up in May.
