Z71 Grill Emblem Ad

And colored bumpers and grille too. Those aren't cheap.
Don't the gauge cluster have a Z71 logo too?
It's a lot more than shocks and a skidplate.
Not all had colored bumpers for 14 and 15 Z71. I don't know that ANY of them had painted bumpers then. I think it changed for the 16 face lift.

But cost-wise it's dumb to convert a new truck when you could have just bought the one you wanted to start. Z85 or Z71, at the same trim level, they cost the same.

Yep, and also true Z71 have a locking rear diff. That's the most important part for me and no one ever mentions it in these debates of whether it's worth it or not.

Without the locking rear diff in 4x4, the best you will ever get is 2 or 3 wheel drive.

If it has the Z82 trailer package it has the G80 locking rear differential too.

Thank you. That looks like the badge. I actually am looking for the flat backer plate that mounts to the grill to attach the Z71 emblem.

Uh it’s part of the grill itself my friend there’s nothing to mount other than the emblem.  You have to have the Z 71 grill to mount the Z 71 emblem.

Dont poke the bear back, just keep walking.

Less drama that way.

Agreed

If you dont have a G80, I HIGHLY suggest a Eaton TrueTrac rear end. I put one in my old truck and LOVED it!

GREAT differential!

It worked butter than the G80 in my new truck. The G80 seems to engage when it feels like it where that TrueTrac worked like better every single time!

Anyone know who makes the rear end with the G80 code?

Eaton makes them.

I think the Tru Trac is made by the same company that makes the Detroit Locker

The Tru track don't clunk like the G80 when it engages and is probably a better setup.
