Mice in blower motor

I turned on the heater and it started to make a bad vibration sound at high speeds. I thought the blower motor was bad, so I took it apart and found the culprit, a small Mouse.

 

Just curious how a mouse can end up inside the blower motor, any ideas?

Dame thing happened to me in my car.  

It made a horrible racket and the little guy is not coming down to dinner anymore

I wonder how they get in there?  windows and door are always closed.  Can't figure out where they could get in from under the hood?

Mice can squeeze through gaps as narrow as a 1/4 of an inch.....so go figure. Stick your finger through the weather strip of a closed door, and you'll see.

They always got in my vehicles somehow till I started putting bars of Irish Spring soap in random places like in the glove compartment and around the engine bay,haven’t had a problem since.
