2010 Silverado instrument cluster

I have a 2010 Silverado with a 4 speed transmission.  My instrument cluster is the 4 gauge. I want to swap it out for the 6 gauge cluster. Do I have to have the new cluster flashed or cloned to my factory cluster?

Not if you purchase a used one. If you get a new one, It will have to be programmed.
