Newbie here...quick question!!

Hi,

  First off, I want to say hello to all here.  This is my first post.

  I just ordered a 2019 Silverado with the 6.2 engine along with the 10 speed transmission.  I was told this engine is on constraints, any insight to about how long this will be on constraints? They do have the allocation, so hopefully the engine will be available soon.  Where would I go to check my order status online?

Last time I checked the GM Authority site would not reveal anything. Maybe things have changed the past couple of months

Best bet would be to keep on your salesman or the sales manager/whoever ordered the truck.  They'd have the ability to get the info on the constraints for an order.
