AT4 with Duratracs

Recommended Posts

Finally got my AT4. This is totally stock with the stock 18" rims. 35x12.5 Duratracs *just* fit. Some rubbing of wheel well liner at full lock but a tiny bit of trimming will fix that. Last pic is of the control arm on the front, which was my biggest concern. It's close but no rubbing or issues.

Very nice! My AT4 should be here any day and I’m thrilled to see you got 35s to fit. Is your at4 totally stock? No leveling kit in addition to factory lift? Any mods to make them fit? My 14 has the wheel well liner pinned back and there is apparently some sort of bracket on the 19s that can be removed from the rear of the front wheel wells to create some space

looks awesome

edited to add: I see the comment that you are totally stock. I just can’t believe my eyes

Tires are 275/60/20 on an AT4. No issues as they are pretty much standard size.  no level "yet".  Wheels are RD3:  6 spoke split spoke (12 spoke total) Black gloss painted aluminum, 20x9, 28mm offset.

Like the RD3 rims way better than what comes stock on AT4.  Did you have to order those special?  Was dealer good with just swapping those rims?

Truck looks great.  Do think 285/60R20 KO2 would fit?  Looks like 1/2" bigger than your tires.

Thanks

My dealer had this combo with tires on another truck.  The AT4 I bought was a special order with the performance pack that the guys backed out on.  So to seal the deal we worked these in.  He just swapped them off the truck.  These are standard RIMs on the elevations and they can order them too.  if you have a good relationship with the dealer you should be able to swap, the K02s are not usually sold at dealers, so you would have to get them.

As far as size I would have to look, though 285s are really alot on a 9 inch wheel.  You can usually +1 and get away with it.

I have had KO2s on my Yukon for 3 years and they are great tires. I just wanted to try something different this time so I went with the Duratracs. They aren't quite as aggressive looking as I had hoped but I think I'll stick with them. I tested the KO2s in every conceivable winter condition this year and they were fantastic. They slip a lot in the rain, which I don't understand, but that's my only complaint. Post pics when you get the new tires on!
