09 GMC no power to fuel pump driver

Jtt

Question

My 09 GMC would not start , it acted as if out of gas . Fuse 21 and 56 are good . I probed the red / white power wire at the module connection and at first , had power . Now there is no power .

  Any ideas with this ?

You need to check FSCM  power and grounds - common issue on these trucks. GM had not only the bright idea of creating this stupid-assed system ... but, they put it in THE WORST location that anyone could put an electronic control module (above the spare tire, right in the middle of salt, sand, and water). Welcome to the 21st Century!

If that wasn't brilliant enough, replacement requires PROGRAMMING ... in other words, you need a J-box, a laptop, and $$$ to access GM service information. So, that $60-LARGE wasn't enough for the initial purchase price - you need to pay MORE in order to get your junk to run, after the sale ...
