myChevrolet wants access to your messages

I say yes, but this pops up every time I start the truck. Anyone else getting this? How do I get it to stop asking?

Delete and reinstall the truck.

I get the same thing.. it's the phone that's asking me.

 

I have an Android too. I'm ready to delete my profile and have it profile-less.

This so you texts can be read aloud when they come in when you're driving, I think.

Yeah, I don't have a profile that I know of. This is on Android. For some reason the answer isn't being cached/remembered. It happens whether I connect via BT or AA. It is at every start up of the truck.
