2005 Z71 put replacement Bose amp in my Tahoe now have a buzz coming from back speakers

Recommended Posts

So just replace my boss audio amp with a factory replacement Bose. Now after plugging in the rear stereo unit for the rear speakers to work I have a small buzz that gets louder as I accelerate. Got told to try and ground out the amp itself but would like someone else’s opinion on what could be the issue.

Most of the time, the "buzzing" you are hearing is due to a grounding issue.  Make sure you have a good ground...no paint, good metal-metal contact, etc
