I'm going to be mounting one of those 10.6cfm twin piston air compressors (maxi trac, morrflate, stop n go, thor) inside my cab for onboard air. My question is can I ground it to the body, should I run a bulk head and wire to the frame, or run it with the positive back to the bay and ground out on the frame there?
It has a 90Amp peak draw and I'll be running 6 AWG wire, it will be fused and run through a switch box to a 200a relay. I know in the past people will ground winches to the frame or body, but with all the computer stuff going on I've got this concern on the back of my head.

I am wondering if I can fit 35s on a 3in body lift on a 2013 Silverado Z71 4x4. Will I need wheel spacers or offset wheels? Will stock 18in rims work or do I need aftermarket ones? Thanks

So I have a 2008 Silverado 1500 LT 5.3 Extended Cab Texas Edition. I've had the truck going on 8 years now, but the trim has started to get loose. I've replaced body clips but some of the plastic has begun to break. I've searched junk yards, and auto lots with no luck to replacement. I tried GMdirect for the trim but still unable to find interior trim for this truck. It shakes and rattles over bumps like crazy, back door trim fell off. I've used foam to help quiet the rattling but if the trim doesn't stay on, there's no point. Might be from the back doors rattling (cannot figure that out either). Does anyone have a website link other than GMdirect for where I can find the interior trim replacement? Thank you!

Hello everyone. I've been looking for a raptor style grille for my '14 silverado 1500. I see ones online that I like but I can only find them for the 16-18 models. They have the 3 amber led's on top and "CHEVROLET" fairly large across the middle. For these, you can find them for 120-175 dollars.
The only raptor style grills I've found for the 14-15 chevy have the amber lights but no chevrolet across the front. I've also seen grills with chevrolet across the front but don't have any lights AND they cost 500-700 dollars and at that point, I would just stick to the stock grill.
Anyone have any ideas on where I could find this? or ways that I could maybe buy the blank grill with the lights and buy lettering somewhere separately and somehow attach them to the grill?
I've attached 3 pictures. The first one is what I want but it's not the right year. Second is what I can find for my year and 3rd is the one with no lights, but has lettering across middle for 600 dollars.
Any advice would be awesome!

Hey all, I'm new to this forum so if I'm not in the correct section or have done something in the wrong, just point me in the right direction.
I have a 2015 Silverado 1500 and I've seen a few topics on here regarding a front end swap between the 14-15 body style and the 16-19 body style but none have really helped that much. I was hoping to get a new topic going for people wanting to do this in the future that contained more helpful information on the whole process. Now, I have done some research to see what would need to be done, and I've found that it in fact IS possible HOWEVER, if you want to do this, you have to replace the whole front end including bumper, grille, headlights, and hood. You can't just do it piece by piece because the lines wont match up. For those who have done this, is my though process correct and is it pretty much a seamless transition when swapping everything out? Meaning all bolt holes, etc. line up when switching a 14-15 front end with a 16-19 front end?
If anyone has done this swap, please share your process!
