Install is wireless charging in Chevy LTZ

Was a bit disappointed that I did not have wireless charging installed on the new truck so I decided to remedy that until I can figure out parts needed to install the OEM setup.

 

Anyway, bought the wireless one as you see from Amazon

 

Removed the underside cover by prying it off, removed the back cupholder with a T10(I think) and also removed the rear vents and console.

 

Dremeled out the plastic under the console and hot glued the charger in place. Ugly looking glue job, but its effective.

 

Ran the USB wire into a small slot input into the latch area and pulled wire through hinge.

 

Overall easy job and glad I did it.

I thought it was odd that they moved it from the top of the center console (where I always put my phone) to the middle console under the radio to begin with.
