Add foglights and SXM to 2019 LT?

Since GM decided to reorganize equipment packages (and further move away from ala cart options) and decided the 'New Silverado' wasn't worthy of foglights in LT trim, despite them being standard on the All-Star package of earlier trucks...anybody know if one could buy the OE foglamps and do a plug-and-play install?  If so, looks like maybe the light switch would need to be replaced?

What about adding SiriusXM to a LT truck?  I've read somewhere on the interwebs the dealer can update the OE radio for SXM, so it must be true...

Figured somebody here would know the answer to both questions...thanks!

Have you called your dealer and asked? I did see the fog light kit somewhere online. This is part of why I have been looking at the RST.

You can get the factory LED fog kit for $221 includes everything you need.

Worth noting that you still need programming after the fog light install. Some have said that it’s two hours labor to program. Seems crazy, but maybe ask your dealer before you get into it.

The kit comes with both fog lights, a switch, a harness and an extra wire In case if its not already installed from factory. Keep in mind that you have install at least one wire into your bcm harness during the installation. It will require 1 hour of labor for the programming in case if you decide to install them on your own

Also btw if you order the kit it doesn’t comes with instructions it says you have the ask your local dealership but when i installed them 5/6 dealers didn’t want to give them out

I’d guess MANY would pay $221 for a factory-installed foglight option....

There are two options for fog lights/ With or without task lighting. You have to order correct kit for you RPO.

If you have the Safety Package, which includes task lighting, you need this option.

Does this come with all the necessary parts?    Lights, dashboard switch, wiring, and instructions?     Do you need the dealer to reprogram the computer for this to work after install?

I wouldn't go that route. It's more of a hack and you loose your USB port.
