Hello everyone, so I'm having trouble with the install of the bilstein 5100 adjustable front strut shocks on my 2015 Silverado 4wd 5.3 crew cab, and need some input...

I installed the Bilstein shocks on the stock setting (bottom click) with 0" of lift into the strut per the instructions, everything is lined up and fits into place, can tighten the top 3 bolts down, except for the bottom of the strut is not fitting over the lower control arm to be bolted back into place.  I've loosened the sway bar all the way, used pry bars, yet still no give to raise over - still about 1-1.25" too low.  Very frustrating, wondering if I'm missing something.. Sorry I don't have pictures, it's currently sitting in a shop since I couldn't finish it, thinking maybe my lift is preventing the installation somehow? I appreciate it!

Your lift kit came with strut spacers.

Use them.

you use the strut spacers AND the bilsteins. the bilsteins work WITH the 6.5" lift as long as you leave them on the stock setting.

OP a picture would be helpful
