Joey Rodriguez
I have a 2019 chevy Silverado custom trail boss and noticed the oil pressure drops at idle from 60 to 40 and gets a little shaky, and after that while accelerating stuttering occurs not all the time? And its very minor not major.
BringTheRain403
40 psi is more than enough at idle. The shuddering is not front the drop in oil pressure... Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
ct_corey
my 16 5.3 Silverado and my new trail boss both had a bit of a rough idle at times. Almost feels like a slight misfire. Normal of the 5.3 direct injections engines. Some are worse then others and some people are more sensitive to it. Over the years every 2014 + Silverado I have driven does it including my own and multiple service loaners(my 16 was at the dealer a lot for the shake issue). The dealer told me that the new trucks are so fuel economy oriented that they are always running somewhat lean. Depending on when and how you accelerating you may feel a slight shudder or unsmooth acceleration. Mine seems to happen after being in stop and go for a while and then accelerating 30 to 50. MY truck does is and the 8 speed LT I had as a loaner did it as well.
HondaHawkGT
The oil pressure sounds ok and normal for that engine. My guess is that you have a spark plug wire missing a clip or something else going on. I would let the dealer find the misfire.
