Help Needed - Brake light issues

Hey guys i have found all kinds of valuable information from this site just searching through google so I decided to

make an account of my own. 

 

But I am running into an issue I have a 1999 gmc topkick 6500 gas 5spd, and we are running into issues with the Aux brake light staying on and the brake lights staying on after the truck has been shut off. Runs great even though it’s on, It’s my chipper truck that we use for my tree service so it’s used almost daily. Truck runs fine just that light and beeping noise is annoying. 

 

Any input on where I could start would be greatly appreciated!

I'd start with the switch on the brake pedal.
