2018 LTZ Crew cab.

I have the "Weather tech "style GM floor mat on the driver's side and it won't lay down against the console. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get it to lay down?

Has anyone modified the rear one so it doesn't run all the way under the under seat storage tray?  It's a pain to get out to clean.

For the rear one, if you flip the mat over there is a line scribed on the underside where you cut it just behind the hump that is just forward of the storage bin.  I cut mine with scissors or a hook blade utility knife.

BTW, dealers should do this when they install the combination of storage bin and floor liner, but most are lazy and don’t.

Thanks, I'll take it back out today and trim it.

sure: remove it, buy a husky liner. be happy.

The weather tech ones deform and you can never make it hold the shape you want.

Perhaps heat it with a heat gun slowly and put it where you want it. I used to toss my liners in the driveway on a hot day and then into my Infiniti and all was well.

A good pair of fun snips worked well for me.  Basically just heavy duty scissors.  A heat gun or even a good hair dryer might help you change the shape a bit on the front may.

I going to have to try heating next time I'm off work.

Thanks for all the Responses.
