Help Identifying Device Mounted Below Driver Across From 4WD Transfer Case

I changed my oil for the first time today, as I'd been given 2 free ones when I bought my 2018 Silverado 1500 LT (4x4 5.3L).  While lying there waiting for the oil filter to finish draining I noticed a device mounted roughly below the driver's seat with what looked like possibly brake lines or other hydraulic lines going into it.   It's across from the transfer case for the front wheel driveshaft.  It also looked like it had a round device on one end of it - motor housing?  I'm just curious as to what this device is?

Antilock Brake System

Thanks to both of you for answering.  That was my best guess.  This truck replaces a 1998 F150, which didn't have ABS.   I guess I just questioned it being the ABS as I would have thought it'd be placed in a less exposed location.  I suppose this location saves GM $$$$ with shorter brake line runs to each wheel as opposed to putting the ABS in the engine bay near the master cylinder.
