High beams on with fog lights

Anybody with intelibeams confim it works? I just picked up my 22 and was disappointed to find I couldn't turn my fog's on (driving rural deer hunting and really like to see them coming) and also use intelibeams at the same time.

I just ordered the Boost 6 high for my 22 High Country.

It has the intellibeams so just figured it wouldn't work. Now I know.

I did this mod on my 18s and it was well worth it

Ok so here's what I discovered with my refreshed 22. Basically how the jumper works is that it triggers your fogs when your highs go on. So you will always have fogs running when your highs are on, whether you trigger them manually or with intelibeam.

What i'm bummed about is that I like to run fogs with just my normal lights. This will defeat intelibeam. My wife's 2020 expedition has intelibeam and i can put the fogs on (oh and the stay on I don't have to engage every time) and the intelibeam will flip the highs on when needed and go back to low and fog when needed. No mods necessary.

I don't understand why chevy doesn't have this preset from the factory. When I'm driving to my farm at 5:30 in the morning during the whitetail rut I want highs when I can and lows with fogs if I can't... because you know... deer on the side of the road.

Frustrating, but still a nice mod that does what it says it will do. Turns your fogs on automatically whenver your highs are on. But still no apparent solution for fogs with lows and intelibeam working.

Correct, this is what I find as well. Running at night with intelibeam on your fogs are off and then as soon as highs kick on your fogs come on. I just want my fogs on 100% of the time. I guess you could jumper them into the running lights possibly? That would work right? but then you could never control them from the switch

So I wonder if that's the case with a pre refresh 22?

I always have my fogs on day or night because I want the moron that might pull out in front of me too see me coming, more lights the better

I've had a diode jumped from parking/running lights to the fog lights no issue, basically fogs auto on when at night and stays on when high beam is activated.  This will eliminate having to jump highs to fog, I think it's a better solution for those wanting fogs on with low beams and high beams.

thoughts are keep them separate, you don't want anything that can focus you on the road in front of you while trying to scan ahead for game in the ditch, and also when it's foggy you definitely only want low lights close to the ground illuminating immediate area and nothing else, if you need more light with high beams then get spots on the corners or light bar and aim them with the high's to do better job, if you're lit up too close while high beams on there's no point, you're wasting your time, if you're doing it just for the looks you're also wasting your time lol

Just got the below email from Boost:

Hi Bryan,

Thank you for reaching out to us. The mod you currently have (the All Lights Mod) will enable the fog lights to remain on whenever you have the high beams on (whether manually or while using Intellibeam).

The mod required to keep the fog lights on at all times would be the Auto Fogs Mod. This mod will keep your fog lights on anytime there is power given to the parking light circuit. Please note that installing this mod alone will not keep your fog lights on when your high beams are on, but both the Fog Lights Mod and All Lights Mod can be installed together.

You can use the part you currently have and install it according to the Auto Fogs Mod to achieve the Auto Fogs function. Please see this video.

Alternatively, if you would like to have both functions, you can purchase a second kit and install both mods.

Please let me know if I can help answer any further questions.

Best,

Joe
