Yukon XL 2019 color?

Recommended Posts

I'm buying a 2019 Yukon XL Denali for the family and need help deciding on color.  Ideally I love a charcoal color (the old Iridium that is no longer offered).  So now deciding between onyx black, dark sapphire blue, or satin steel metallic. I think dark sky can't decide if it's blue or grey.

Is black a classic- or too much like a limo/uber?  Satin steel is nice, but a little lighter than I'd hoped. I saw the Sophie on the road and loved it, however in lot in bright sun it is looking more bright blue.

Which color is your favorite for this size car?

-satin steel metallic?

-onyx black?

-dark sapphire blue?

not sure about even putting dark sky here?

Check this dealers inventory, has a dark sky Yukon, looks good     Dark Sky would be my choice over black or blue.  Black is so common a color.

Thanks for this link.  I’ve already seen the cars in person as well.  I am more looking for other people’s color opinions in this car.

Man, I don't know what to tell you. Mine is tungten metallic (same as GMC Iridium) and I love it. I'm not attracted to any of these new colors either. You should probly just let the wife pick the color on your new ride. haha.

How about between the Dark Sky and the Steel Metallic?

Black has looked best mainly i think because it goes good with chrome accents  and make this monster size of a vehicle look smaller than it really is. I never chose black because of more practical reasons, looks dirty  quicker , needs more often car washes to look good, scratches show more easier and heat absorption is strikingly more than other colors. I went with silver ice metallic which is a complete opposite of all these mentioned. But silver just looks ok but is very practical . Black  does  look amazing on this vehicle but if you  cant put up with the practical issues satin steel metallic will have most practical advantages of quicksilver offered but will look nice. What about mineral metallic?

Dark sapphires blue id need to see that on the lot. In my color book it looks black. Mineral looks closest to iridium
