I am currently looking for a mechanic/shop that will fully delete a 2017 Chevrolet 2500HD (L5P), hopefully around the Mississippi/ Louisiana area. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

It’s too much trouble and for the gains it’s not worth it I mean there’s no return on investment like the previous engines. And has anybody had any real issues so far with the factory set up...other than spilling some DEF fluid under the hood.

I'd like to find a good shop to do a delete on my '15 LML somewhere near Augusta, GA. I don't have many miles on it but every time I take it in to the dealer for an oil change I see at least one sitting in a bay with the cab lifted off of the chassis because the DEF system is screwed.

If you have not yet had any issues you have nothing to worry about.  The most troublesome years were 2011, 12, and 13.  Things got a bit better in 14 and 15.  The biggest issue?  People not driving the truck at highway speeds for the full time amount needed for a proper DPF regen.

Im not having any issues but my warranty is up and better fuel mileage and more HP are what i am looking for. Im not saying I am rich but i am not worried about the $$

I researched and know what I want but I don't know anyone around the area that can install it.  I work all over the country and I am currently in Mississippi and I don't know any reputable diesel mechanics other than a google search but I'm looking for a vouch if possible.

      I purchased a brand new 2019 2500HD LTZ Iridescent Pearl,  2 weeks ago here in Oklahoma. The truck had 26 miles on the odometer. 3 days after I brought it  home, I gave it its first washing. I was so proud of this brand new truck until I ran into rust, on the lower part of the doors. I thought to myself I just purchased a brand new truck for $60,000, why in the world am I seeing rust. I immediately crawled under the truck to find multiple components that have significant/moderate red rust showing. The trans pan and rear disc brake covers are losing their plating with rust coming through.
      I immediately contacted the salesman asking to bring the truck back and trade for a different one, but......I was told financing already went through and they could not take it back. That was 3 days of ownership. It's been very painful and disappointing to this point, but I did get the truck into the Service Manager and he took pics and trying to see what GM is willing to do. I just came back to Chevrolet after years of Purchasing Ford products. I even have my 1949 5 Window that I drove in college.
      Has anybody seen this before on brand new GM trucks? See Pics

      Good evening everyone! This is my first posting on the forum! 
      I’ve got a 2011 GMC 2500HD 6.0 that has visited 2 tuners in the central Texas area. I have a TSP VVT2 cam, 3600 converter, forged internals, And exhaust, with more to come soon. 
      I have been told by these shops that my truck could not be dialed in like it needs to be due to missing airflow tables on HPtuners. Supposedly the 2011 HD’s have a odd computer that has to be torque based tuned. 
      I am having idle problems... pulling up to stop lights and turns the truck will die 8/10 times, but starts right back up. 
      Anyone know a way around this hiccup? These shops have gotten it to the best they could, which still is not enough obviously.
