Whistle in Recirculation AC Mode

Highway speeds in recirculation mode I hear a whistle in my 2019 Silverado WT. Turn recirculation off and it goes away, turn it back on and the whistle is back. Anyone else?

Yes, had it at the dealer 3 times and they still can't find the issue. It starts around 65 and will stop if I turn off recirc.

I had this happen on my 2015 AT. I had some of the other vents closed. Opened them all up and it was gone.

I have the same thing also. Had it to a dealer. They tried to replace the windshield under warranty. I wouldn't let them because I'm pretty sure the windshield and recirculation aren't connected.

Similar to Hondabbq, I've had some vehicles that would whistle on recirc if to many/some vents were closed and fan speed was high.

At least I’m not crazy. I was going to have them look but they wanted to take the dash apart. I didn’t want to risk a permanent rattle.

I don't blame you.  I am waiting until they have a fix for it before I give the truck up for something fairly insignificant.  I don't feel like having my truck used for a research experiment.

I have told the dealership that it has the recirc problem.

I had a 2019 loaner truck that had it as well...

Exactly my thoughts. From doing research, it sounds like this has been a problem since at least 2014 in GM vehicles.

Like others, mine was whistling too, until I opened other vents.  It was annoying for a while.

My 14 and 16 never had this problem.
