No fog lights

2006 2500hd, has factory fog lights. When I bought it the switch had been replaced with a cargo light only and the fog lamp relay was removed. I replaced the switch with a cargo/Fog and replaced the relay. The switch illuminates with the dash lights, the cargo lamp is functional but no fog lights. Fog light fuse is good and has power. Light bulbs are good also, what am I missing? Do I need the RR FOG LP relay also? Reprogram the BCM?

Maybe go through the RPO codes (3 digit codes, on a sticker in the glove box) and see  if your truck came with fog lights.  If it did, then it's likely just an electrical problem (fuse/relay/wires/bulbs), if it didn't, then you might also need the bcm reprogrammed for that option.

Thanks. I'll check that. I know the light assembly is OEM, due to the number.
