What size/configuration muffler do I need to buy?

I want to order a Venom 250 muffler soon. I'm not sure which diameter to go with. Also which configuration as far as the placement (center vs offset). For that I could just go look at the stock muffler lol but hoping someone could help me out as I can't check at the moment.

With my AT4, 6.2L, I’m replacing the GMPP muffler with a 3.5” center/center dynomax.

With my 5.3L I used a 3in Center in Offset out Flow FX muffler

Anyone else? Not sure if I need the one that us 3" diameter or 3.5" diameter. It does look like it is offset in and center out though.

Ok so I went and measured it and the tubing is 2.75". Checking with the muffler shop on if I should order the 3" one.

After talking with the muffler shop I went ahead and ordered this muffler. I ordered from another website as the vendor is out of stock at the moment. Let's hope I ordered from a legit site lol.

I got my muffler in. Technically it's the wrong part number. I was supposed to be given BW002-P and they gave me BW002-D with a drawn on line to make it a P lol. So offset is on the wrong side. I assume it doesn't matter if the black widow logo points down or up towards the truck?

It shouldn’t matter if the inlet is in the center, the offset can go on either side.

I thought the inlet was the offset one and the outlet was the straight one? But yeah either way it will work.

Well got the muffler installed. I'll say I'm pretty pleases with the tone and sound. Not overly loud but sounds sweet to me! I may be biased though since it's my truck lol.
