I have a 2016 silverado crew cab was playing around at night with some friends and we drove it in a hole with the frt end it did no body damage oh it's also lifted 3.5 inches but it blew the side curtain airbags but my problem is it will not steer at all now and if u look under it there is no visible damage but the wheels are turned to the left and is stuck like that what did I do to it and what exactly do I need to replace to try to stay in low budget to make it steer again thanks for your thoughts please help

Start by getting under it and inspecting every bit of the front end, suspension, steering linkage, all of it.

Have someone turn the steering wheel lock to lock while you look at everything.

Hopefully that will help you get a clue.

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DRIVE IT.  If you do something ignorant, you may hurt someone. With the airbags deployed, your hopes of a low budget “make it steer” repair are let’s say “slim”.

You must’ve walloped the ever loving heck out of it to get it to deploy those head curtain bags..

Not to be mean. But, your post reads like it’s Dad’s truck and he’s out of town til Monday. Sorry.🤦🏻‍♂️

Right now, all of his “You can make it Bro, just punch it.” buddies are peeling off one by one to work on their alibis.

“Dad, I found your stolen truck. The bastards abandoned it behind the house.”

Oh My God. 😅😂🤣 His profile.

Drives: Non driveable

Welcome to the site (someone has to be nice).

My guess is you broke your steering rack, there is a nonreplaceable sensor in it. If that has been damaged, you are "stuck" as it sits.

Just paid $2200.00 to replace the rack on our 2016 Tahoe when the sensor went out.

Good luck.
