One headlight has a light scratch but if you took to a professional detailer they could likely sand it a little and buff it away to look new. The one picture shows it on what would be the passenger side just to the right of the ELLED band. No impact on lighting and with some professional polishing would probably just disappear.
Has anyone had the dealer update their BCM on a 1500 to remove the bulb out detection system that causes the hyperflash?
I was told they could on 2500 and 3500 but couldn’t on a 1500.
I found this online which states the same I think (if I’m reading it right)
But, I feel like I’ve seen where others had this done on a 1500, but coming up short in searching it. So any details would help!
Im trying to put LED tail lights on my 2018 Silverado LT and really don’t want to add a bunch of resistors as I eventually want LED all the way around.
With the days getting shorter, I'm going to work in the morning when it's dark. I back into my space at work and it is really hard to see, my backup lamps don't put off a lot of light. I still have the incandescent bulbs in my 2018 GMC Sierra 2500HD SLT, has anybody upgraded or retrofitted to LED's ? I know with some to the older systems and LED replacement bulbs you had to install resistors, do you still need to do this? You can purchase just about anything in LED and they are they won't break the bank these days.
Has anybody performed this upgrade, if so what brand of LED's are you utilizing?
Are you only retrofitting the Reverse lamp bulbs?
What about the Turn/Brake and Running lamp bulbs, if you retrofitted them to LED, would they be too bright?
Interested in what others are doing.
Selling my brand new track grill still in the box if anyone is interested.
This custom made grille is an exceptional eye catcher that will be sure to get you many looks, stares, and compliments. The grill has the word duramax in it, therefore it more so compliments the Diesel engine.
Grille is brand new, still in the box. Also comes with 2 light bars already installed; with wiring harness.
