RC 2" lift struts...?

Curious if anyone has used / tried these.

I saw one guy on a f150 forum say he ditched the 5100s for these because the Bilstein's were harsh.

Not these but I have the N2 version and they are alright but im going to try and save my pennies to get some coilovers

coilovers come with ONE tension set on the springs..

 

GM has about 6 different coil tension settings based on truck configuration.  (crew cab, extended cab, single cab, short bed, long bed, Z71, factory tow package, etc. etc.)

 

maybe you hit it right with your lifting coil overs and your truck configuration, but if you dont, you're ride is going to be stiffer..

 

one of the offroad accessory companies here that I spoke with will ONLY level with spacers that fit on the top of the factory strut/coil. 

-of course, they'll lift your whole truck if you want, but there is only one way they'll level a silverado/sierra 1500  (and they use urethane spacers, not aluminum, because the aluminum squeaks/creaks over time)

I have the 7” N2 lifted struts and they’re nice. The N3s should be better. I wouldn’t hesitate to get them. But truly if it’s just a level you’re going for I’d save my money and just get the level spacer and run the oem struts.

I have the N3 5inch lifted struts on my truck and absolutely love them. The truck actually rides better lifted than it did stock with the factory Rancho struts which are junk imo.
