Anything on Diff Plugs?

Planning on changing out fluid in my front and rear diffs. Should I put anything on the threads of the plugs when going back in?

I honestly don't think I've ever done that in my life lol.

 

Half the time they still have some sort of factory sealant on them still and the way the threads are designed they rarely ever leak when snugged down good.

no, its not a pressurized system so there is no need

Thanks guys. I had seen some people mention blue thread locker but wasn’t sure. do you actually torque or just hand right snug

German spec, good n' tight.

I torque 'em, just to avoid damaging the plastic seal, which is easy to mess up by using too much force.  I'm also a big guy, so it's easy for me to overdo it...
