Still had to do the tune to turn off the afm, I’ll probably take it to get another tune when funds are available lol after I get my inside done

I hear that! Yeah thats the one I plan to use as well. Minus the power tune. Id have the tune set just as factory was or just enough to get it good on gas lol. Maybe I'll see 30mpg lmao! Im probably gonna do the swap myself because I dont trust mechanics. Always tryin to sell ya somethin! Who did the tune? I was thinking of finding a local dude somewhere.

Given its out of the original gm warranty you could ask for an aftermarket cam amd tune. Brian tooley makes a cam very simular to the factory minus the afm. Just throwing it out there. @ 130k im looking into aftermarket solutions.

Yes and it will cost them more since the parts are coming from gm. Might be a selling point for a more reliable setup... Just saying. Its your future and money.
