Window Loud Popping

Hi all!
My 2005 Colorado passenger side window makes a loud Popping sound if you don't stop holding the button. It scares the holy crap out of anyone sitting there. As recommended, I tightened down all the nuts and bolts holding the regulator with blue loc-tite but it's still happening! Any suggestions? Should I just go ahead and replace the whole regulator? Thank you!
