Based off feedback from everyone here on the forum, I submitted everything for my first tune today.

Excited and hoping I see the differences that everyone here did!

  • 2 weeks later...

Just wanted to update that I got my tune from Justin last night. Uploaded it immediately of course. I only have a short drive (8 miles) to work but what a difference already. Planning to go for an extended drive tonight. I should have done this sooner for sure.

Alright, I still haven't had a minute to go on an extended drive with how my schedule has been.

However, I can tell you this was probably the best thing I've done to my truck. I never noticed how much I would feel the truck going in and out of 4 cylinder mode. The power output from the truck now is awesome. From a dead stop or even a steady roll I can break the tires loose with no issues what so ever... without disabling the traction control.

There is no more hunting for gears, no more harsh downshifts that make me feel as if the drive line is going to fall out.

The amount of throttle pressure needed to get the truck moving now is minimal. I'd be curious to see what the percentage is when I hook it up to a scanner.

My foot has been in it pretty heavy, and getting in the colder weather I can't speak to the fuel mileage at the moment. But tomorrow I have a 2 hour drive and I'll compare to what that same drive normally uses in fuel.

If anyone is debating on getting this done... just do it. You won't regret it.

Much thanks to Justin and team.
