K & N Cold Air Intake Chevy Trail Boss LT

Has anyone installed a after market K&N CAI system yet and if so did you have to have Chevy reprogram the Maf as you do with there version of the same system? Hows performance ect ect.

I have the 63 series on my 5.3 and no I didn't have it reprogrammed. I think GM is required to to keep it legal for California C.A.R.B emissions regulation. Not loud at all but I did it at the same time as the cat back exhaust. Feels a little more responsive and I picked up about .8 mpg
