Replacement "Chevrolet" decal on tailgate?

Recommended Posts

2002 Silverado 1500

Getting a dent removed on the tailgate.
I think the last 3 letters will need to be removed.  ".....LET"

Can I get replacement stickers?
Or should I just remove all the letters?

This is not a photo of my truck, mine is much nicer condition.

But, the letters look just like this image I found online (except mine are white)

Yes,

You can get a replacement decal but you will get the entire "CHEVROLET" and use the letters you want.

Call a local decal shop is you have one or get a new set off Flea Bay.

I ended up removing the entire decal.

Now, I have a blank tailgate.

I want to find 2002 era style emblems like this.

Can someone help me find this?

Do an eBay search for these numbers... 15114063 (Silverado w/bowtie) & 15126056 (Chevrolet). I think these are what you're looking for.

Thanks, but $90 and $70 for 2 emblems?

Damn, what a ripoff !

I'll stick to Ebay.

Still want to know how he found the part numbers.

First I looked them up for a 2002 Silverado here... https://www.gmpartsgiant.com then I did an eBay search on the numbers to see photos of the physical parts to verify the numbers were correct. That's how I get most of my parts.

Sad but they are probably from the same supplier. May as well pay less and get the same

I found the 2 emblems USED for $37 total on Ebay.

Crazy to call that a deal, but all other options were $45-$80/ea

NUTS.

I can't find any emblems for a 2002 on that website.

Can you tell me exactly what you clicked?

Go here…

https://www.gmpartsgiant.com/parts-list/2002-chevrolet-silverado-1500_4wd/rear_body_structure_moldings_trim_cargo_stowage/nameplates.html?PNC=0b045162ebf8bca45daa0c2fd976997f
…then scroll down to the yellow boxed area showing the “PLATES”
It’s a little tricky sometimes finding parts due to what GM calls them.
