Short little trips can leave me with a 16 or 17 mpg on the gage, but it always averages out to about 12 mpg, so

These can’t be HD numbers?!

Sure they can.

Mine are better than that.

34.1

29.8

24.4

Yes, that set was in the mountains and I don't expect a repeat.

Any day when its' not windy I can take you on a drive on a flat ground out-and-back trip and get the average at or above 25.  Even on winter fuel.

But that's at 55-60 mph, not at 75-80.

My 2015 WT1 doesn't have a resettable at those increments. Only a resettable tank average. Often over 33 mpg. It lies.

Hand calculated:

Over the trucks 107,000 miles the average miles driven per tank has been 391 miles. Average fuel load has been 14.2 gallons.

So 27.57 mpg life time. 1 standard deviation is about 2.25 mpg for a range of 25.25 to 29.75 mpg lifetime. Best single tank of a least 400 miles has been 33 mpg and worst about 23 mpg. For only the summer months of 2019 (180 days) it averaged 30.15 mpg.

Yeah, you quoted me last month saying the same thing. I didn’t reply because I wasn’t buying it then & I’m still not buying it now.

I guess if you’re coasting down the mountains it’s possible...

10,000 more miles, and quite please with L5P. I live in the Midwest, so no, I didn’t glide down any mountains.

When you spend $60K, you think everyone is gonna stomp on the pedal all day long, day in and day out? Nor does anyone put their truck on blocks and runs it for 400 miles. Believe what you want, it's not like anyone is getting a f'n ribbon in the mail for their MPG.
Only Ford sends out second place ribbons from what I heard.

18.4 on the 50 mile average.  75 mile commute to work, flat, 2 lane roads.  I can usually hit between 16-17 pretty regularly.
