Rear window issues after recall

After getting my rear defrost fixed at the dealer I noticed a few weeks later once we got some rain that its leaking and my headliner is stained from water! On top of that I hit a small bump driving today and the drivers side of the rear window shattered.. not sure if that's related. But the leaking just started after the "fix", would calling gm directly be more effective? Or should I see what my dealer has to say?

Call the dealer. Calling GM will just get you the following question: “did you contact the dealer?”

There are GM technical service bulletins on this issue I believe. They should know all about it.

Just an update, GM decided they would replace the rear window at no cost. Good to see gm covering things even with my truck being a 2015.
