Oil lab sheets, 5/20 with a bunch of brands to compare.

Just browsing some threads on another site for my old car and found this document where this guy has sent off a bunch of different brand 5/20 oils to get tested. Thought it was interesting. 

 

I've always been a Mobil 1 guy, but maybe I might have to dig deeper.

Looks like Mobil 1 has the least Calcium and the most Magnesium of the test oils. 

Calcium good, Magnesium not so go is the general consensus . They are used as cleaning agents.

Those tests were done in 2017 with API SN rated oils. API SN+ was introduced a year later in which you saw most oils switch to a lower calcium/higher magnesium add pack. https://pqia.org/2019/05/31/sn-plus-motor-oils-calcium-down-magnesium-up/
